The Honors College is pleased to announce NEW Guidelines for Honors contracts. Contracts are a way to work individually with a professor to add or expand the work of a regular course in order to transform it into an Honors course. Important changes include the extension of the application period from three weeks to seven weeks, and removal of the minimum work guideline of a 20-page equivalent. Instead, students and faculty members should work together to create an experience—the more innovative the better!—to enhance and enrich the course. Students are still discouraged from contracting 100-level courses, but these more flexible guidelines will enable a broader range of courses that you could enrich. New guidelines are available online, and new resources for designing contracts and communicating with your professors are coming soon.
