The West Virginia University School of Medicine is seeking applicants for its Pre-Medical Track program

The Pre-Medical Track program is an early assurance program designed for select undergraduate students in their sophomore year at WVU. Students who enter into this program and remain in good standing will be assured an interview for WVU’s School of Medicine.

To apply, WVU students must be in their sophomore year of study and hold a science GPA (biology, chemistry, physics, math) of 3.5 or higher, demonstrate qualities of a physician, and demonstrate interest in the field of medicine. Those accepted into the program will be required to participate in specific programs, some of which may take place on the campus of the WVU School of Medicine, and will be assigned a WVU School of Medicine faculty mentor. In addition, students will be required to maintain a minimum GPA and earn minimum MCAT score while in the program. More details about the program can be found here .

Application for the Pre-Medical Track Program opens August 22, 2016 and closes October 3, 2016.
