Hello Honors Students!
The dust has settled on our 2016 season of Orientation Trips; over 1000 incoming students traveled, hiked, camped, rafted, volunteered, and created lasting friendships all over the great state of West Virginia. These experiences were made possible by a small, dedicated, and outstanding community of student staff members. Think you’d like to become part of this community?
The Adventure WV Orientation Trips (AWOT) Program is accepting applications (due by October 5th) for our 2017 pool of Trip Leaders and Logistics Specialists. We are looking for a diverse group of motivated, dynamic, and caring individuals to join our summer leadership team.
AWOT Trip Leaders work on and off campus, facilitating participants through activities such as: rock climbing, backpacking, whitewater rafting, Habitat for Humanity service, Challenge Course, and more. AWOT Logistics Specialists work on campus, managing the organizational components of AWOT trips.
We are seeking individuals with sound decision making abilities and exemplary teaching and leadership skills. We will provide the necessary leadership and technical training through our spring 3-credit leader training course. No previous experience is required. Applicants do not have to have attended an Orientation Trip.
AWOT offers competitive pay, memorable experiences, and a wonderful community.
Consider joining our team.
