Volunteer with WVU Pediatric Entertainment Program (PEP)

Like kids? Aiming for a career in healthcare or education? Join PEP – Fun for the Fight! The Pediatric Entertainment Program (PEP) is an international charitable organization with the goal to help alleviate the stress child patients incur during their hospital stays. Applications due by Sept. 16.

WVU PEP has four main focus areas: Education, Outreach, Entertainment, and Mentorship. This year PEP will continue to interactively teach first graders of Monongalia County the importance of nutrition and first aid. In addition to the education initiative, PEP is also active in the community and on campus through various community outreach activities and a recently started mentorship program where PEP alumni provide career guidance to current PEP members.

WVU PEP is looking for new members this year. For more information and to apply, please visit pep.orgs.wvu.edu. WVU PEP will be accepting applications until Sept. 16th. For questions, please email wvupep@gmail.com or ersmith1@mix.wvu.edu.
