Induction Ceremony

The purpose of the Induction Ceremony is to formally welcome new Honors students to the Honors College. Students, parents and guests will be welcomed by the Dean of the Honors College and Honors College staff.

The induction ceremony is essentially a pinning ceremony, and new Honors students will all receive the official WVU Honors College pin to signify and solidify they are part of the Honors College community.

This is a required event for new first-time freshmen Honors students. Up to two guests per student are welcome to attend the ceremony due to limited space.
