Mountainlair Programming & Special Events Week of Jan 30th

Your Help To Save Lives Is Really Needed

The sixth annual “Dancing with Our Mountaineer Stars Competition” that is run through WVUp All Night, West Virginia University’s premier late-night program, will again feature a community-service component.  The American Red Cross teamed up with WVUp All Night and continues to raise awareness by urging individuals to be blood donors through the organization. While dancing is large part of the “Dancing with Our Mountaineer Stars Competition”, the contestants must seek donors to give blood on their behalf at a blood drive the week before the show. For each blood donor that each dancing couple receives, one extra point is given the couple’s final score.  All blood donors will receive a FREE American Red Cross “We Challenge U” T-Shirt, a FREE gift card, and FREE pizza.  As a part of the competition, the Annual Dancing With Our Mountaineer Stars Blood Drive will be held on:

** Wednesday, February 8th, 2017 in the Mountainlair Ballrooms from 1:00 pm -7:00 pm **

This competition is a unique and great way for faculty, staff, students, and our community to come together for a day to support a great cause. This year the competition begins at 7:00 pm, in the Mountainlair Ballrooms and is free and open to the public.  Blood donations are really down in our area and your donation can truly save lives.  For more information or to sign up as a blood donor, please contact Paige Klingensmith or Sonja Wilson,
