Participants Needed for Arabic-English Research Study

A researcher in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Education and Human Services on the Evansdale Campus is currently recruiting native-Arabic speakers to participate in a language study to examine characteristics of speech sound acquisition in Arabic and English.

The testing session will last about 45-60 minutes. Participants will complete several speech, language and reading tasks.

Participants will be compensated with a $10 Amazon gift card upon completion of the study. 

Participants for this study must meet the following criteria:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Native Arabic speaker
  • Fluent English speaker
  • No history of hearing disorder
  • No history of vision impairment (that is not correctable by glasses/contacts)
  • No history of speech, language, or reading disorder
