CoHE-APLU Student Panel Nomination Information
The Council on Honors Education-APLU Conference is hosting a Student Panel to discuss the value of an Honors education on Sunday, Nov. 14, and they are looking for Honors students to participate!
The WVU Honors College can nominate one student to apply for this opportunity. Interested students should submit their essays to Honors Dean Dr. Ken Blemings at firstname.lastname@example.org by noon on Saturday, Oct. 23. Students will be notified by Thursday, Nov. 4 if they are selected to participate in the panel. Additional details on the prompt and how to apply can be found below.
Five essays will be selected for presentation and discussion at the APLU-CoHE student panel on Sunday, Nov. 14.
The Value of Honors: Application to Participate in Student Panel
Essay Prompt: What aspects of your honors education have been most valuable to you, and why?
The essay should be 500-800 words in length.
Essays will be evaluated on quality of writing and compelling narrative.
Students must confirm their availability on Sunday, Nov. 14, if selected.
