“Part of Introduction to Human Nutrition (HN&F 171), this Honors add-on will allow for more personal weekly interactions outside the regular lecture, including a deeper look at real-life applications of nutrition "hot topics."”

Kelli George is a licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and currently serves as a Teaching Assistant Professor and Director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics at WVU. Kelli earned her bachelor's degree at Virginia Tech, completed her dietetic internship at VCU Health, and earned her doctorate at Florida State University. At WVU, in addition to advising many students on their nutrition and health-related career paths, Kelli currently teaches the following courses: Introduction to Nutrition, Professional Development in Dietetics, Foodservice Systems Management, and Medical Nutrition Therapy II. Kelli has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles, led study abroad trips with coworkers, and is actively involved in the West Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
