Applying to graduate from WVU this December? That’s great! Students who have previously completed the Honors Foundations program and students currently on track to complete the Honors EXCEL program should complete the Honors Recognition Form to apply for Honors recognition for graduation by Friday, Oct. 28, 2022. (You will receive a link to the form from Vickie Sigley on Monday, Sept. 26, 2022.)
After completing the Honors Recognition Form, you will also need to complete the online Honors Pre-Exit Interview Form. Vickie Sigley will email the link to the Pre-Exit Interview Form on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022. The deadline to complete this form is Monday, Nov. 28, 2022.
The Pre-Exit Interview Form will consist of a series of demographic questions. Upon the submission of your pre-exit form, you will have completed the Honors Graduation Process.
Whether you are an Honors Foundations Scholar, Honors EXCEL Scholar or Honors Laureate (who completed both programs), your Honors College accomplishments will be noted both on your diploma and transcript.
Don’t forget to note it on your resume, too! Email us at honors@mail.wvu.edu if you have any questions about how to best showcase your experiences.
Students can visit the Office of the University Registrar website for a step-by-step guide to apply for graduation.
