The Honors College will host two separate recognition ceremonies for students graduating in May or August 2023.
Foundations Recognition Ceremony
We'll celebrate the achievements of students who completed the Honors Foundations Program.
DETAILS:
- Date: May 9, 2024
- Time: 4 - 6 p.m.
- Location: Lyell B. Clay Theatre (Canady Creative Arts Center)
- Attire: Regalia and business casual
As part of the ceremony, students will hear remarks from Dean Blemings, a guest speaker and receive their Honors cords. Graduates who plan to participate must RSVP by 4 p.m. on April 29, 2024.
EXCEL and Laureate Breakfast
We'll celebrate students who completed the Honors EXCEL Program or both Honors programs.
DETAILS:
- Date: May 10, 2024
- Time: 9 - 11 a.m.
- Location: Holiday Inn on Pineview Drive
- Attire: Business professional
During the breakfast, graduates will receive a medallion (EXCEL) or stole (Laureate).
Students who plan to participate must RSVP by
4 p.m. on
April 29, 2024.
Please note: Students must meet all graduation requirements and deadlines from the Registrar's Office, as well as their academic college, in order to graduate. Students apply separately to receive Honors College recognition. In preparing to graduate, follow all required steps outlined here to receive Honors recognition.
