Ty Flynn

Ty Flynn is a senior from Elkins, West Virginia, majoring in nursing. He is the director of Kesem at WVU, a nonprofit organization that gives year-round support and offers a summer camp to kids whose parents or guardians have cancer. In his free time, Ty enjoys playing video games, reading classic books and watching TV. His favorite memory from WVU was during a Kesem summer camp when kids participated in a silly activity, throwing paint and shaving cream at each other. After graduation, Ty plans on working at WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital in the pediatric intensive care unit for two years and then return to school for a master’s degree.
